About Us
Our History
A guesthouse designed as a haven of peace, under the protection of the Holy Family.
Welcome by Myriam
The house is run by Myriam, who welcomes you with humble, artisanal hospitality. The goal is not to offer the impersonality of a luxury hotel, but rather the comfort and warmth of a true family home. Myriam personally ensures that every pilgrim and visitor feels at home, welcomed with kindness.
« Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. »

A Spiritual Consecration
The house is much more than a mere stopover. It is placed under the spiritual protection of the Holy Family and features its own small private oratory. These spaces have been designed to foster an atmosphere of peace, silence, and contemplation.
Here, every pilgrim is invited to fully experience their pilgrimage under the maternal gaze of Mary. Times of prayer or celebrations can occasionally be offered in a fitting setting, respecting everyone’s privacy and faith.
« A single ray of faith clearly shows us the insignificance of the world compared to God »

LA SAINTE FAMILLE : A MISSION ENTRUSTED BY MOTHER MARY
Inaugurated on 1 May 2018, on the feast of Saint Joseph the Worker and during the month of Mary, the La Sainte Famille guesthouse was consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary on 8 September of the same year, the feast of her Nativity.
This project was not something I envisioned on my own : it is part of a journey on which God has gradually shown me the way.
It began with a powerful calling from the Virgin Mary to come and live in Lourdes, during Mass on 31 December 2016, at the Grotto of Massabielle.
Then, through the words of a Coptic Catholic deacon, prophetic messages foretold what was to come, long before events began to unfold :
“You will live in a house called La Sainte Famille.” “You will welcome people who need to experience reconciliation.” “There will be spiritual retreats accompanied by priests.”
Little by little, what had seemed uncertain became reality.
At the age of 60, after serving as a hospital chaplain for several years, I left everything behind to answer Mary’s call to come to Lourdes. It was my unconditional “Yes” to the mission that Heaven had entrusted to me.
Thus, La Sainte Famille came into being: a house placed under the protection of the Virgin Mary, born of a spiritual journey and a surrender to God’s will.
Numerous signs confirmed this calling. They were little “winks from God”.
These included the providential encounter with the deacon who announced the name and vocation of the house, the discovery of a house that corresponded exactly to what had been foretold, the provision of the necessary funds to undertake the renovation work, and the gift of a crucifix depicting Jesus, Mary and Joseph at the foot of the Cross.
My daughter also contributed, in an unexpected way, to the choice of the name for the ministry that welcomes those attending the retreats: “Mary, Mother and Queen of Reconciliation.” The Holy Spirit blows wherever He wills.
May this house, in accordance with God’s will, help every wounded person feel welcomed, listened to and accompanied, as a unique individual who is precious in God’s eyes.
“I place my hope in the Lord ; I trust in His word.”
